My Life.

Day 2!

What another crazy day! Busy busy busy, but good :) Only two lessons resulted in 3 frees, which is always nice. Maths with Sir John Merritt was as usual, pretty crap, but in a good way. It’s hard to describe his lessons, but they’re always enjoyable, and we do normally get the work done, i just sometimes think the focus is more on the social aspect, rather than maths :P but who gives a F***! Mustech today again was also pretty intense, getting our MIDI version of Knock on Wood sorted, the kit part is no complete and main parts of the bass line too! BUZZ! Vocals are being done on friday for my composition, to go along with adams which should be good fun :D

Also got offered to play a gig in town in february, should be a good one again at KUDOS! But also got asked to do sound for the new up and coming local band chest of pogs, which should be awesomely good fun! and good money too! more details coming soon! speaking of live sound, i haven’t mentioned the website on here yet, www.djjaws.co.uk which i recommend everyone checks out at some point, just cos its me, and its cool, and if you ever need someone to do sound, i’m your man.

So yeah, thats pretty much it again for today. oo! I also hope to be getting my first cover video up on youtube soon, or at least recorded and ready to go on there. but i’ll keep you posted on that one. Sleep tight guys! xx

what a way to start…

Busy busy days at the moment! Just about to sit 3 exams, which will shape the rest of my life. Basically, if i mess these up then i mess up my chances of getting into uni! Pretty simple then really, don’t mess it up! If only life were so easy…

Maths, Physics and Mustech are all very enjoyable a-levels, but hard. Hard in different ways. I’d like to think i’m naturally gifted at Mustech, but i’m not. I just know what to listen for. Comes with experience. Maths is definitely something i’m not naturally good at, and usually a battle to get a good result in, but it is possible, getting a C last year for AS is an achievement for me! Physics…jeez physics. Its mind bendingly brilliant. It makes you confused about the world, but also makes complete sense. totally brilliant as a subject, totally pointless taking for a level to do well (unless you’re Jon Page, a physics god in my mind)

But thats enough about school subjects,.. ambitions in life seem like a good topic to start with. Music. Music plays a huge part in my life. so much so that i couldn’t live without it, ever since year 3 i’ve been hooked. but not long after year 3, music technology took a firmer grasp of my mind, microphones, synthesisers, mixers, effect processors, a speaker all brilliant examples of the cool stuff you can do with sound. and thats what i want to do with my life. work with sound.
